Hermine Patch is a fine art, conceptual photographer, born in 1996 and coming from Slovakia, still studying photography at the university in London but currently based in Prague.

Departing from the experimentation with the different genres during her studies, she has been mainly interested in connection between portraiture and still life, examining the concrete ideas and concerns through symbolism, where the ordinary, everyday object is in focus, thematically placed in a different context where acquiring a new meaning and representing a certain value.

Her fascination with the ambience of the specific places and minimalist aesthetics usually leads her to the strongly considered, visually clean and geometrical set-ups, enriched with the otherwordly, sometimes even bizarre quality to it.

Based in the pure, modern environment being a sourceful part of the whole concept, her work contributes to the exploration of the new, simulated construction of the actual space and time.
